Micro Brewery
Paddock Wood Brewing Co.
Paddock Wood Brewing Co. brews craft beer with traditional recipes. We were
one of the first microbreweries in Saskatchewan and sell beer in stores and
restaurants across the province. Our ales, lagers and stouts are canned,
bottled and kegged. Our growler station has 7 rotating taps, so you can
fill a howler or growler with delicious beer from your local brewery.

Suggested Beers to try at Paddock Wood Brewing Co..
IPA - English
Our version of this brisk beer is inspired by the classic nineteenth-century style, but travels a stop or two beyond. A rich blend of malt rolls through and supports a load of characterful American hops. The taste? Totally off the rails!
The 606 artwork commemorates the famous rail yards of Saskatoon, once the very lifeblood of the city.
IPA - Imperial / Double
Loki is named after the Norse trickster God and rightfully so. With how beautifully balanced this brew is it’s easy to overlook its strength.
Malt forward and hoppy; dry-hopped for extra depth of flavour. Not usually a fan of IPAs? Give Loki a chance. Like everything else about this beer, the flavours will surprise you.
This one’s tricky - watch yourself.
Red Ale - American Amber / Red
Red Hammer was first forged as a hybrid of styles, combining several delicious features into one brew that really nails it.
Smooth, malty and caramel tasting, this brew is subtly hopped, with a dry finish. Did we drive home that it’s smooth?
Try adding a little bit of Bandits Coffee Moonshine to bring out Red Hammer’s caramel flavour, it hits the spot every time.
Pilsner - Czech / Bohemian
Iconic, clean, dry and crisp with a somewhat malty character. Brilliantly clear - the way it should be.
Czech Pilsners are unlike any other in the world and are great examples of how water changes a beer.
Our Czech Mate had its first beginnings as an experiment into modifying water properties to recreate that true, Czech Pilsner flavour. While our current rendition doesn’t require such an elaborate process, it is refreshingly unique among other Canadian-brewed Pilsners
Lager - Dark
A black lager with a mild, roasted malt character, and delicate coffee notes - but with no hop bitterness.
Black Cat was one of our first beers released in 2006. Paddock Wood’s Founder wanted a dark, easy-to-drink beer that would change how the market thought about beer.
Black Cat was named after our Founder’s cat, and much like with black cats there’s nothing to fear about dark beers.
Wheat Beer - Hefeweizen
Saskatcheweizen is our classic, hazy, German-style wheat beer. It features enjoyable hints of banana and clove, with a refreshingly crisp finish.
Great for individuals new to craft beer!
IPA - American
Sun Seeker is an unfiltered hazy IPA with big hop flavour but low bitterness.
This juicy, summery brew has notes of citrus and tropical fruits.
Sun Seeker was an exploration in a new style of beer for us! After several test batches we settled on the recipe we all enjoyed the most. Hopped three times to get big hop flavour without the bitterness. We wanted to make something approachable and enjoyable for summertime fun.
Blonde / Golden Ale - Other
New to craft beer but have no idea where to start? Prairie Blonde is a lightly flavoured, smooth and mild blonde ale that is sure to quench your thirst, any time of the year. We brewed this for people that enjoy sitting around a campfire, hanging out with friends on the patio, or relaxing after a hard days work.
This beer is for anyone that enjoys kicking back with a mild, easy-to-drink beverage!
Sour - Fruited
Fruity, sour, electrifying!
Electric Cherry will wake up your tastebuds and excite your senses with its delicious cherry overtones, tart profile, and vibrant red colour.
We set out to create a fruited sour that tastes truly like fruit and we’ve finally perfected our recipe.
This beer and its artwork will knock you back to the 1980s. So don your shutter shades, grab your time
machine, and get ready for a wild ride!
Stout - Other
A sweet and spicy hot chocolate stout that will take your breath away! Rich and creamy, this delicious
brew will warm you up on a cold winter’s day.
Dragon’s Breath is a re-imagining of our original
spicy, hot chocolate stout, with a slightly lower ABV. We hope you enjoy the heat as much as we do!
IPA - Imperial / Double New England / Hazy
Prepare for lift off, this heavyweight flavour bomb is out of this world! Juicy, citrus, hazy. What more could you need in a Hazy Double IPA?
We thought to ourselves, “how can we make Sun Seeker even more delicious?” and the clear solution was to turn it into a Double IPA.
Porter - Other
A classic dark porter with mild notes of roasted grains and a hint of coffee. Rich, smooth and easy to drink.
Named for the brewery itself, this roasty, toasty porter is ideal for cold winter weather.Let it warm up a little while you drink for a great flavour changing experience!
Red Ale - American Amber / Red
This refreshing honey amber ale has a hint of honey sweetness brightened with a touch of hops.
Our Honey Amber Ready Brew kit has been a long time favourite amongst our homebrewers, so we figured it was high time we finished a batch of our own!
We’ve added extra hops to our rendition for a little more oomph.
Wheat Beer - Hefeweizen
A delightful fusion of our classic unfiltered,
German-style wheat beer with fresh, raspberry puree. The raspberry notes enhance the banana and clove profile of our hefeweizen, fusing into a wonderfully fruity combo.
Crafted with care, this ale captures the essence of Saskatchewan summers, offering a refreshing and hazy taste that's perfect for those seeking a delicious experience.
Red Ale - American Amber / Red
Easy drinking amber ale with a nice note of honey
Blonde / Golden Ale - American
IPA - Brown
Hopped in the “whirlpool “ stage of brewing, allowing it to have great hop flavour and aroma without the bitterness.
Blonde / Golden Ale - American
Brewed especially for The Dam Smokehouse.
